Terms & Conditions for the Retreat "Embracing Life, Honoring Death" and Liability Disclaimer
The liability disclaimer is part of the registration process for the retreat and will be signed in person upon arrival on the first day of the retreat.
Please read carefully, including the cancellation policy.
By registering for this retreat, you are entering into a contract with MVDr. Jana Slavíčková, ID No.: 65476841 – a sole trader registered in the Czech Trade Register.
Your registration becomes valid once the registration form is completed and a deposit of 5,000 CZK or 200€ has been paid, based on the issued invoice.
The remaining balance (retreat fee + accommodation and meal costs) will be collected in cash upon arrival.
By paying the deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If the deposit is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and offer the place to another applicant.
Cancellation Policy:
60–30 days before the event: you agree to pay a cancellation fee of 1,000 CZK (40€).
29–15 days before the event: cancellation fee is 2,500 CZK (100€).
14 days or fewer before the event: the cancellation fee equals the deposit, i.e. 5,000 CZK (200€).
If you are unable to attend and wish to avoid the cancellation fee, you may send a replacement participant in your place.
After the retreat has begun, or once it has ended, no refund of any kind is possible.
If the retreat is canceled by the organizer, your deposit will be refunded in full.
Invoicing, Tuition Fee, and Documentation for Accommodation and Meals
The total price of the retreat is 13,000 CZK. This amount consists of two separate components:
Tuition fee, which covers the program and professional facilitation of the retreat.
Accommodation and meals, which are provided by an external accommodation facility.
The organizer issues a tax invoice solely for the amount corresponding to the tuition fee.
The cost of accommodation and meals—which is not provided by the organizer—is deducted from the total amount of 13,000 CZK. Therefore, the organizer does not issue any invoice for this portion of the payment.
If a participant requires a separate invoice for accommodation and meals, they must request it in advance directly from the provider of these services. Retroactive issuance of such a document is not possible unless it has been arranged with the provider beforehand.
Liability Disclaimer
Participation in the retreat is voluntary. Each participant is fully responsible for themselves and their actions before, during, and after the retreat, including any damage they may cause. The organizer is not liable for any damages caused by participants.
Health Statement
This retreat is not a substitute for medical or psychotherapeutic care.
If you are undergoing any kind of treatment (especially psychiatric or psychological), you are required to inform the facilitator, Jana Slavice, before the retreat, including the nature of your condition.
You must also disclose any potential health risks (e.g. recent injuries, chronic illness, epilepsy, asthma, pregnancy, etc.).
By participating, you confirm that you are not currently taking psychiatric medication and do not have a serious infectious disease.
Prohibited Substances
Participants agree not to consume or share illegal drugs, mind-altering substances, or excessive alcohol during the retreat.
Any substance that alters consciousness—whether legal or illegal—is not permitted.
Confidentiality
Participants must respect the confidentiality of group processes and the privacy of other participants. Any personal information shared during the retreat is to remain within the group.
Accommodation & Meals
Accommodation and meals are automatically arranged for each participant.
If you do not wish to use this service, please notify the organizer at least one week before the start of the retreat.
Otherwise, you are obliged to pay the full cost of accommodation and meals upon arrival.
No refunds will be issued for meals or accommodation once paid.
Right to Dismiss a Participant
The retreat facilitator reserves the right to exclude a participant if they repeatedly fail to follow instructions, violate the Terms & Conditions, or infringe on the rights of others.
In such cases, no refund will be issued.
