Embracing Life, Honoring Death:

Understanding the End-of-Life Journey

14. - 16. November 2025

3days retreat with Martha Jo Atkins (USA) in Czech Republic

Join us for a soulful retreat in the heart of the Czech Republic, where we will gently explore what dying truly looks and feels like. Together, we will examine real human experiences of people at various stages of the dying process, offering insights that help us see beyond fear and into a place of understanding and compassion.

Guided by Dr. Martha Jo Atkins and inspired by the Map of Dying™ and the Language of Dying, we'll learn how to hold space for ourselves and others as we navigate the profound terrain of loss, letting go, and the natural process of dying. Through stories and examples, we will demystify the physical, emotional, and spiritual shifts that occur, helping you recognize the beauty and humanity within these experiences.

We will also take time to reflect on our own past grief – exploring how our personal stories shape our perspectives on end-of-life. By acknowledging how past loss colors our view, we create space for a more nuanced and compassionate understanding.

Amidst the beauty of our retreat center, we'll build a heart-centered community where laughter and tears are equally welcome. There will be time to rest, reflect, and support one another as we unpack the realities of dying and the impact of our own grief stories.

Whether you're looking to deepen your understanding of end-of-life care or seeking a tender space to confront your own relationship with mortality, this retreat offers a safe, thoughtful environment to slow down, breathe, and truly see the human side of dying.
